Jessi Lea graduated cum laude from Ithaca College with a B.M. in 2003. Since then she has taught in public schools both on the east and west coast as well as teaching workshops at the Northern California Women's Herbal Symposium.
She has also been performing as Hera Has a Heart with a rock ensemble and as an acoustic soloist since 2013. She released her first concept rock album, The Mirror, in July 2017 with lots of community support.
She has recently finished her second concept, a folk album entitled,
The Moon, inspired by the teachings of Lynda Emashowksi, M.S., D.L.
Jessi combines her classical multi-instrumentalist background with rock nuances to create a backdrop to her dynamic voice while spouting stories of the human condition.
